TL;DR — Ruling
WHEREFORE, in view of all the foregoing evidence, arguments and considerations, this court hereby finds the accused – JESUS JAVIER alias Jessie GUILTY beyond reasonable doubt of the crime of Murder as penalized under Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code as amended by R.A. 7659. But considering that the accused has voluntarily surrendered, he is hereby sentenced to Reclusion Perpetua , together with all the accessory penalties provided for by law.

But considering that the accused has voluntarily surrendered, he is hereby sentenced to Reclusion Perpetua , together with all the accessory penalties provided for by law. The accused is also hereby ordered to indemnify the next of kin of the victim the sum of P50,000.00. SO ORDERED.
