ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ttVISION OF THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATION
OF THE MARIKINA HOTEL FOR C.Y.2008
Introduced by Councilor PONCIANO T. i,BALDO, Jr.
WHEREAS. on January 9, 2008, the City Council of Marilina passed Ordinance No. 04
Series of 2008, approving the annual budget of the Marikina Hotel for C.Y. 2008 in the
amount of Twenty Seven Million Six Hundred Forty Thousand Twenty Eight Pesos and
Eleven Centavos (P27,640,028. 1 1 );
WHEREAS, during a special meeting held on August 4.20;08 at the Marikina City Hall.
the said annual budget has been revised frorn Twenty Seven Million Six Hundred Forty
Thousand Twenty Eight Pesos and Eleven Centavos (P27,640,028.11) to Forty Seven
Million Six Hundred Six Thousand Seven Hundred Tliirty Seven Pesos and Ten Centavos
(P47 ,606,7 37.10);
WHEREAS, the aforementioned revision has been duil' approved by the Board of
Trustees to be endorsed to the City Council for review and final approval through a
legislative measure;
WHEREAS, the said approval of the Board of Trustees was attested and certified by its
duly-elected Board Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Marikina Hotel, Mrs. Aida
Nufiez;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS IT IS HIIREBY ORDAINED by the
SANGGLINIANG PANLUNGSOD ng MARIKINA, in session duly assembled, that:
SECTION 1. The City Govemment of Marikina hereby approves the revision of the
annual appropriation of the Marikina Hotel for C.Y. 2008 from Twenty Seven Million
Six Hundred Forty Thousand Twenty Eight Pesos and Eleven Centavos (P27 .640,028.1 I )
to Forty Seven Million Six Hundred Six Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty Seven Pesos
and Ten Centavos (P47,606,737. I 0).
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
