ACCORDINGLY , the Court finds respondent Atty. Rogelio M. Watin GUILTY of violating the 2004 Rules on Notarial Practice and the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability. He is meted the penalties of SUSPENSION from the practice of law for TWO YEARS, REVOCATION of his existing notarial commission, if any, and DISQUALIFICATION from reappointment as notary public for a period of TWO YEARS , which is to take effect after he has served the penalty of two-year suspension from the practice of law. He is also STERNLY WARNED that a repetition of the same offense or similar acts in the future shall be dealt with more severely. The suspension from the practice of law shall take effect immediately upon respondent's receipt of this Decision. He is DIRECTED to immediately file a Manifestation to the Court that his suspension has started, copy furnished all courts and quasi-judicial bodies where he has entered his appearance as counsel. Let copies of this Resolution be furnished to the: (1) Office of the Bar Confidant, to be appended to respondent's personal record as an attorney; (2) the Integrated Bar of the Philippines for its information and guidance; and (3) the Office of the Court Administrator for circulation to all courts in the country. SO ORDERED.
