WHEREFORE, in view of the above discussion, the Court finds the accused [XXX277980] guilty beyond reasonable doubt of the offense of murder and hereby sentences him to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua without eligibility for parole. The accused is likewise ordered to pay the heirs of the victim the following: [c]ivil indemnity for the death of [AAA277980] in the amount of [PHP] 100,000.00; [m]oral damages in the amount of [PHP] 100,000.00; [a]ctual damages in the amount of [PHP] 342,760.
