WHEREFORE, premises considered, this court finds the accused [XXX270897] GUILTY BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT for the crimes of Qualified Trafficking in Persons as defined and penalized under Section 4(a) in relation to Section 6(a) and a(2) of RA 9208 as amended and hereby imposes against him, in each case , a penalty of life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Two Million Pesos ([PHP] 2,000,000.00).
WHEREFORE, premises considered, this court finds the accused [XXX270897] GUILTY BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT for the crimes of Qualified Trafficking in Persons as defined and penalized under Section 4(a) in relation to Section 6(a) and a(2) of RA 9208 as amended and hereby imposes against him, in each case , a penalty of life imprisonment and to pay a fine of Two Million Pesos ([PHP] 2,000,000.00). This court further directs the accused to pay each of the private complainants AAA, BBB, and CCC Five Hundred Thousand Pesos ([PHP] 500,000.00) as moral damages and One hundred thousand pesos ([PHP] 100,000.00) as exemplary damages and to pay the cost of suit. All monetary awards shall earn interest at the legal rate of six percent (6%) per annum to be computed from the date of the finality of this Decision until fully paid. The period of preventive imprisonment of the accused shall be credited in the service of his penalty pursuant to Article 29 of the Revised Penal Code. SO ORDERED.
