ACCORDINGLY , respondent Atty. Vivian G. Rubia is: declared GUILTY of violating Canon VI, Section 33(g) of the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability. She is SUSPENDED from the practice of law for TWO YEARS ; declared GUILTY of violating Canon VI, Section 34(c) of the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability. She is FINED PHP 35,000.00 and ordered to pay the same within three months from receipt of the Decision; directed to RETURN the sum of PHP 3,000.00 to complainant Melinda B. Regodoz within three months from receipt of the Decision; and STERNLY WARNED that future infractions shall be dealt with more severely. Further, the Manifestation of Utmost Apology unto this Honorable Court, A Motion for Reconsideration and/or a Belated Answer dated June 20, 2024 is NOTED . This Decision is IMMEDIATELY EXECUTORY . Let copies of this Decision be furnished the Office of the Bar Confidant, to be appended to the personal record of respondent Atty. Vivian G. Rubia as an attorney; the Integrated Bar of the Philippines National Office and the local chapter to which she belongs, for their information and guidance; and the Office of the Court Administrator, for dissemination to all the courts in the country. SO ORDERED.
