WHEREFORE, this Court finds accused Jake Lariosa "Guilty" beyond reasonable doubt of Murder and hereby sentences him to suffer the penalty of reclusion perpetua with all the accessory penalties provided by law. The accused is also ordered to pay the heirs of the victim civil indemnity of [PHP] 75,000.00; moral damages of [PHP] 75,000.00; exemplary damages of [PHP] 75,000.

In addition, interest at the rate of six percent (6%) per annum shall be imposed on all monetary awards from the date of finality of this [D]ecision until fully paid.
