WHEREFORE, premises considered, this Court finds the accused ARON AKIL y GUMALON, guilty beyond reasonable doubt of having committed the crime of CARNAPPING, defined and penalized under Sec. 3 of R.A. 10883 and hereby sentences him to suffer the penalty of 20 years and 1 day as minimum to 24 years as maximum; to indemnify private complainant, JR BELARDO y NADO, the owner of the stolen subject motorcycle, the amount of [PHP] 92,952.
